Ahead of Dan Azeez's upcoming O2 bout, we wanted to shift Dan's fan perception by allowing both his fans and new spectators to understand more about his story. Due to his meteoric rise to this stage it is understandable that many do not know his journey or truly understand his personality outside of boxing and therefore it was important to showcase that.

In this we produced a youtube mini series, alongside social first content promoting him and his South London origins. With a piece of content produced by The Building Bloc featuring local legend Rapman. The content produced and featured on his Instagram outperformed the content produced Sky Sports produced social content with more views and impressions even with a comparably smaller following.

Charlton's new ownership has highlighted an extreme importance on engaging the local community. Being a South East London club means the stories told need to speak to South Londoners which is where our understanding of cultural relevance comes in.

This partnership will see Charlton and The Building Bloc work together to create bespoke content and events that engages with the local community and ultimately results in them coming to the club’s stadium, The Valley.
